Due to predictions of hot weather, and the site not being ready, the Whoosier Network picnic scheduled for Saturday August 16th has been postponed. Dates under consideration include the weekends of August 30, September 20, and September 27 ... Saturday or Sunday those weekends. If you're thinking of going, please feel free to private message us or comment here about what dates would be good for you.
23 years ago this week the Whoosier Network had its last meeting at the Central Library in Indianapolis. We met in this room almost every month from 1985 until 2002 when they closed our meeting space for renovations. (Actually, they renovated this room out of existence.) In the group photo, from left to right are Michelle, Joe, Deena, Mark D., Chris, Rick, Julie, Bill, Jane, Paul, Mark C., Ron, Ginger, Claude, Eileen, Tracy, and Jeff. Also present, but not in the photo, were Toby, Jeff, John, and Stephen (who shot this video). We especially remember those who are no longer with us (Bill, Jane, Ron, and Eileen). Here's to the good times we had, and the good times yet to come!
