Heaven After Hell Rescue
Drake came to us a few years ago, as a horribly bred, 1 year old dog, who needed heart surgery and had some neurological deficits.
He started having unexplained seizures over a year ago, as well.
But he was still the best office pup.
Drake may have tons of medical terminology for all his quirks but dude is the most lovable weirdo I think we’ve ever had. He was a fan favorite for all of his days with us.
He wouldn’t walk on the floor without rugs. (His dad told us he’d see how it went without them. I got a picture of rugs he went and bought, I think within 24 hours. 🤣)
Screamed with every siren.
Screamed when he was excited.
Screamed to go on walks.
Screened while on the walks.
Screamed for a hour after his walks.
He loved every dog we introduced him to….some a little too much. And was so excited to meet every human.
We thoroughly enjoyed every second we got to spend with him, even when we were trying to convince his only remaining brain cell that the floor was NOT lava.
He has been adopted and the updates, videos and photos from his new dad are one of the best things I’ve seen, in a long time.
Him loving water is wild because if there even a sniff of rain in the air, he wasn’t walking on the hard floors. Just mopped? Kick rocks, he wasn’t coming in.
We are so thankful to his new dad and so happy for this boy to live his best life with someone who loves all his “weird” as much as we do.

It’s a good day to try to save some babies.
Received a call from the shelter that a momma had 7 pups and wasn’t being nice to them. She was down to 2 and they needed removed. Momma had rescue commitment but they didn’t have a bottle feeder, so we went and grabbed them and headed to the vet. Their body temp was low and we weren’t sure what kind of shot they were going to have so needed to get vet’s eyes on them quick.
Dr. Kulish got us in, right away and they were doing fine. They will need tube fed for a bit, as they were latching but not suckling. But we are hopeful.
Momma was a Rottie. Not sure who her love interest was but they are precious babies. One boy and one girl.
Big thanks to their foster for giving them a shot. ♥️
