Indiana Health Centers is delighted to welcome Megan Catt, FNP-C as a new provider in our Peru, Indiana clinic.
Megan lives in Kokomo, Indiana, with her husband, two children, and Goldendoodle, Leia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University Kokomo and Master of Science in Nursing from Ball State University. Her healthcare career includes 15 years of experience as a registered nurse in emergency medicine, followed by the past two years practicing as a nurse practitioner in the emergency department.
“Throughout my career, I have been passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care and helping individuals navigate their healthcare needs during critical moments,” Megan said. “I am excited to bring my experience and clinical expertise to primary care, where I look forward to building lasting relationships with patients and supporting their long-term health and wellness. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and staying active in my community.”

Summer in Indiana is special, and many Hoosiers across the state are spending more time outdoors, which is a great way to keep yourself physically active and reduce your stress.
While enjoying the outdoors, it is important to keep yourself safe from harmful the harmful effects of too much sun exposure. The sun can be very beneficial, but it also increases your exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. UV rays are an invisible kind of radiation that comes from the sun, tanning beds, and sunlamps. UV rays can damage skin cells, and most skin cancers are caused by too much exposure to UV light.
