Timeless Vehicles

One of my favoritest ever 'classes' or groupings of cars - of all time - occurred in 2017 at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance with their "Dream Cars" category. Included here is the wonderful MantaRay built by Dean Jeffries. It shows echoes of an esprit de corps of that moment which was inspired by winged sea creatures, an inspiration we can see also reflected in the ocean blue BAT or Berline Aerodinamica Tecnica cars connected by Alfa Romeo aka BAT cars, HOWEVER, the plaque says this is a Pontiac? nah... I can't recall which of the 3 this; 3, 5 or 7 if memory serves. What an amazing show this always is but with this conceptual class featuring flights of fancy, not necessarily contemporaneously practical, but rather, celebrating a culmination of underwater biomimicry and the Jetsons - a look that frolicked amongst car designers at Art Center/SoCal and GM/Detroit alike.
