I know I've been MIA for a while. I hope to get motivated back to the bench soon. In the meantime, here's how I spent my Mother's Day. Two of my greatest loves are creating and travel. This project combines both! The map is a scratch-off map. Once you've visited a place, you scratch it and it's flag. The colors underneath are beautiful and vibrant! It's not my greatest wood work (I cut MANY corners) as I was anxious to reveal places I've already visited. It has many flaws but it's mine and I made it with my own two hands. Anytime I create, it brings me great joy!

My hand still isn't 100% and I could definitely feel it in the process, but I couldn't go another day without being in the studio

Was finally able to get one of the beautiful turquoise cabs from set! I kinda love it! (Good thing it's too big for me, lol)

Rough and rustic...I like! Labradorite in copper.
