Next Great Architects - The Teaching Studio

We started a new afterschool residency!

This group of kindergarten - fourth graders started with a day of planning. We chose our clients, collaborated on the master plan, selected roof types and started bubble diagrams.

At the end of the quarter, we will reveal another NEXT GREAT ARCHTIECTS® Neighborhood! Stay tuned...

Yesterday was an amazing close to the 2025 Summer Design Charrette. The showcase featured Alaya Frye's thesis project, The Continuum: Reviving Indiana Avenue. The students received their certificates of completion, and their projects were showcased in gallery-style presentations. Thank you to all our sponsors (Indiana Landmarks Black Heritage Preservation Program, Reclaim Indiana Avenue, and Purdue University of Indianapolis) for supporting the 2025 Summer Design Charrette!

Day two is done! The projects are coming along, and the creativity is contagious.
