It was a hot one, but BEZ folks still showed up ready to putt their hearts out of Birdies' blue course. Families and friends hopped from hole to hole and turned last Monday into a genuinely fun summer night! Thanks to everyone who was able to join us!

Congregation Beth-El Zedeck stands in solidarity with the Islamic Center of San Diego community following the tragic shooting that has shaken so many families and lives. We mourn with those who are grieving, pray for the healing of the injured, and hold close all those affected by this senseless act of violence. In moments like these, we are reminded of our shared responsibility to support one another with compassion, strength, and unity. May the memories of those lost be a blessing, and may peace and comfort find all who are hurting.

Following last weekend’s performance of Fiddler on the Roof at Civic Theatre, Rabbi Hal led a powerful talkback exploring tradition, identity, and the ways Jewish life is often misunderstood or reduced to stereotypes. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the show's themes through a deeply human lens. The show runs through May 9.
