Disciples Church Extension Fund

Last week we celebrated the 29th Biennial Session of National Convocation - Disciples! Joining fellow Disciples in Dallas, TX, we toured the campus at Jarvis Christian University, presented various workshops, and sponsored the awards banquet. Thank you for worshipping, learning, and praying with our staff!

We are proud (see what we did there?) to see so many Millennial clergy on this list. They are not the next generation of leaders—they are the people ministering to our communities of faith, being a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world, and leading our denomination today. 🏳️‍🌈

While most fundraising initiatives focus on secular-based practices, we view capital campaigns as spiritual, team-building exercises that ignite excitement. Our goal for every ministry is for the entire Church to be transformed and committed to the fulfillment of God's vision for their community of faith.

A New Church Summit reflection - New Church Ministry We are just coming off the New Church Summit. We discussed how to help empower regions to start sustainable new congregations.

Imagine hauling 8,000 lbs. of food a week through basement windows. That’s what Isaiah 58 Ministries in St. Louis, MO was doing for years. But with our help, it will soon be able to meet the needs of low-income individuals from a facility that’s a better fit for its staff, services—and most importantly—its clients.
