She was born August 8, 1907. Can you imagine the history she has seen?! We remember an elderly man walking in and described that he was born here🙏 He shared stories and we simply marveled. Her bones were oh so fragile; one, because of her age and two, because so many businesses that existed here before us had built onto her. When we decided to let her rest, we made sure that we treasured any stable architecture to include in our new build. This is our beautiful bar! We re-loved the original hardwoods, designed, painted and applied them to the bar. Isn’t it gorgeous?! This was just one way to honor what she had gifted so many people, including us! There has been so much joy that has existed in these seats. They have seen live music, wedding engagements, birthdays, and guests dreaming up their own businesses! They have been safe and loving seats for all. What a privilege it has been to host you! The good times surely have rolled here and we don’t see them stopping!

We fell in love with her and now our community has an opportunity to also! Our girl is officially up for sale! Click the link in our bio for details and share far and wide! 🙂

We're selling the ol' girl, but Just Pop In! is here to stay. We will be popping ’til we pop and at this location until the next reveal!

Before there were customers, private events and cafe´guests, there was this moment! We started Just Pop In! in 2003 in a tiny 500 sq ft space, literally across the rainbow bridge in our charming Broad Ripple neighborhood. We can remember the first time watching our original sign go up. It was a moment of pride, the scaries and mostly excitement. We just knew we would be forever neighbors in our Village. In 2009, we bought the property here at 6406 Cornell Avenue knowing our future would be celebrating more than just popcorn. We would build a public house that would bring our community together; creating countless memories and milestones. The launching of this sign felt a bit different in our newly built 2017 home. We built our building from scratch with a massive labor of love! For us, the lifting and anchoring of this sign was quite symbolic. It felt more like a declaration of planting our roots. Today, as we sell our building, we’re reminded that she is a significant part of our and our community’s story. We live, dwell and breath Broad Ripple. We are elated to see who will settle into our beloved home and inherent the best neighbors of all the land!
