On the journey through Cuba I was committed to going to this “secret beach.” To get there we first had to get a ride to a more accessible beach on the peninsula then start our EPIC journey to find the “secret beach.” The journey would end up including climbing through multiple mangroves, wading through the ocean with our bags over our heads, getting attacked my mosquitos, and eventually following an octopus fisherman on a path in the ocean to get back to shore! The only things on this pristine and secluded beach were millions of seashells, some sand dollars, a sea slug, and some neon blue jellyfish that had washed up with the tide. When do you ever get the opportunity to have your own private beach in paradise?!
