🌸 Petals in Motion: Abstract Floral Play with Betsy Becher 🌸

Looking for a creative escape this summer? Join us on Sunday, July 26th, for a relaxed and inspiring afternoon with fine artist Betsy Becher as we explore the beauty of abstract florals through color, movement, and intuition.

Whether you’re a seasoned painter or picking up a brush for the very first time, this workshop is designed to help you loosen up, experiment, and enjoy the process. Betsy will guide you through simple composition techniques, layering methods, and expressive details using acrylic paint pens as you create artwork that feels uniquely your own.

As your painting evolves, you’ll learn how to identify your favorite sections and transform them into 1–2 finished 5x7” matted pieces—perfect for gifting, framing, or adding a little beauty to your home.

Betsy brings a thoughtful blend of artistry and design expertise to her teaching. A former interior designer turned full-time abstract painter, her work is known for its joyful use of color, texture, and movement. We’re thrilled to welcome her to Create and can’t wait to learn from her!

Our first Indigo Table Linens Workshop sold out and filled a waitlist, so we’re thrilled to add a second date to the schedule!
Join Lindsey Canull of for a slow, creative summer afternoon exploring the beautiful art of natural indigo dyeing as part of our Adult Summer Camp series at Create.

Using traditional Japanese shibori folding and binding techniques, you’ll create your own set of four hand-dyed napkins, learning how to fold, twist, bind, dip, and reveal stunning one-of-a-kind patterns from an authentic indigo vat.

Every piece is unique, and the moment you unfold your finished design is pure magic. Whether you’re gathering around the table this summer, looking for a thoughtful handmade gift, or simply craving a creative afternoon, this workshop is the perfect excuse to slow down and make something beautiful.

We are still walking on absolute sunshine ☀️ over the confidence, creativity, and style that was on display during our epic Create Camper’s Fashion Runway Show!! 🕶️ 👠🎨🤩🥰

Our weeklong Art of Fashion camp was the absolute best way to kick off a summer of sold-out art camps! Every gem, ribbon, bag, jacket, and accessory were modeled by our squad of tremendous future fashion designers! Oh, and their final fashion challenge was to make runway ready Counselor Couture looks for each of our fun and fearless leaders!

We loved turning our front porch on Ferguson into the picture perfect runway. A huge round of applause goes to our biggest fans- our campers’ families and friends!! 👏 Thank you for bringing your high energy vibes and support for each and every artist!! It was just the best wrap up a fabulous week!

We can’t wait until next week when our Street Style Studio artists hit the scene…but for now we are still soaking up all the joy these amazing young artists provided to us all at Create!
