I find it hard to believe that Yahweh would bless the most racist systems in the world, however history shows how religion has often been used to justify it. When the image of God is consistently portrayed as a white man with blue eyes, and Jesus is depicted as "white" , it raises a serious question ,especially when one say " color doesn't matter: what does this imply about God’s identity? If Jesus is presented as white, then what does that suggest about his Father?
Christianity, as it has been taught and depicted in many parts of the world, has often been shaped through a lens of white supremacy. These images and narratives were not accidental—they were constructed in ways that reinforced power, control, and racial hierarchy. It's called "Classical conditioning" When people are conditioned to see divinity as white, it subtly—and sometimes overtly—supports the idea that whiteness is superior.
Following that logic, if Jesus is portrayed as white within a society that upheld slavery and racial oppression, it creates a dangerous narrative—one where even sacred figures are imagined as participants in systems of injustice. That kind of thinking doesn’t just distort history; it normalizes racism and embeds it deeper into culture and belief systems.
This is the mentality that has allowed racism to persist for generations—not just through laws and institutions, but through imagery, teachings, and unchecked assumptions about whoGrand Risings holds power, even in the spiritual sense. 👣💙 💪🏿✊🏿📌
