For Jacque Cobb, the IAN Literacy Playbook has been about giving both educators and students the tools they need to build stronger readers.

Through the IAN Literacy Playbook Launch Grant and coaching from Literacy Coach Clifton Snorten, Edna Martin Christian Center has expanded professional development for staff while investing in literacy resources that help instill confidence in the youth they serve.

From strengthening staff understanding of the Science of Reading to providing books and technology that help students see themselves in the stories they read, the Playbook has helped build a stronger foundation for literacy in the Martindale-Brightwood community.
