One thing I’ve noticed after filming weddings for years:

A lot of couples don’t realize until after the wedding what they actually wish they had captured.

Not because anything was bad — but because they didn’t know how to think about their story going into it.

This review said it really well:

“Just seeing the day of the wedding can only show so much.”

The wedding day matters — but it’s only part of the story.

Curious — have you seen this too? Either as a couple or working in weddings?

Just locked in an Ever After Project with one of my past couples.

They got married in 2023.

Since then, they’ve:
• moved across the country multiple times
• stepped into completely new seasons of life
• walked through loss in their family
• and are about to have their first baby

They’re not the same people they were on their wedding day.

And that’s the point.

This film isn’t about what happened.
It’s about what those seasons did to them.

How they grew.
How they changed.
Who they’ve become.

Because story isn’t events.

Story is how events shape someone over time.

I’m excited to document this season — not just for them to look back on…

But for their future kids, their community, and anyone who needs to be reminded:

God is always working — even in the in-between seasons.

This is what I’m building more of now.

Not just wedding films.

But stories that continue long after the day ends.

Stay tuned.

A guy from Tulsa just hired me to make a film for his wife.

They’re about to celebrate 4 years of marriage.
They just had their first baby.

When I asked him why he wanted this, he said:

“It’s been a hard 4 years… and I want something that shows how much we’ve grown — something we can look back on.”

In those 4 years, they:
• left their hometown
• stepped into medical school
• had a baby
• walked through the weight of it all together
• and just matched for residency in Fresno, CA

That’s not just a highlight.
That’s a story.

And it reminded me…

The wedding day is a climax — not the conclusion.

Because after that day… life really begins.

The parts we don’t document are often the ones that matter most:
• the hard seasons
• the growth
• the quiet moments
• the becoming

We spend so much time preserving one day…

But what about everything that comes after?

That’s why I’ve started building something new —
focused on telling these kinds of stories, not just the wedding day.

Not just to look back with nostalgia —
but to reignite:
• joy
• love
• faith
• gratitude

The story doesn’t end at “I do.”

That’s just where a new chapter begins.
