Hyzer Ground

I want to thank all those who have supported Hyzer Ground and let you know that your support has made it possible for us to help support a new course! The course is located at VFW Post 7119 .
It will be an 18-hole course with lots of elevation changes, creeks, and woods. Hyzer Ground is helping with funding as well as design and construction. This is going to be a fun course that will also help support the VFW and its mission.

As the sun was setting tonight at Hyzer Ground I took a moment to reflect. Toady marked 6 months since we started this journey. The mission was clear from the start to help fund the development of new courses in Central Indiana. What wasn't so clear was how we would get there and how long it would take. I'm so grateful for the support the disc golf community has given us. Thanks to everyone who has come out for a lesson, bought a hat/t-shirt, or played in the Indy Ace Off. I'm happy to say the course development fund is closing in on $3000 and is on pace to be able to fully fund a new 9 hole course by the end of the year. This fall we will be starting the process of getting that course approved by Indy Parks.
