We have a few scattered rain showers struggling to make it north of I-70 this evening. We will hold on to the chance for these scattered showers and maybe a few rumbles of thunder for our Wednesday.
The bulk of the rain will fall in areas along and south of I-70, with humidity increasing area-wide.
Thankfully, these humid and rainy conditions will not last for long; dry weather moves in for Thursday, with plenty of sunshine and highs near 80 degrees.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Central Indiana through 10 pm. Similar to yesterday, the primary concern will be potential for strong, damaging wind gusts - around 60 mph.
The heaviest rain associated with this system will fall across southern sections of the region, where an areal flood watch is in effect, running through Wednesday afternoon.
