This fuel gas heater is an industrial-grade unit engineered for power plant generators. It functions as a heat exchanger designed to elevate the temperature of natural gas before combustion, ensuring efficient turbine or engine performance.
Constructed with stainless steel components and thermal insulation, it withstands high pressures and extreme operating conditions typical of power generation systems. The heater utilizes a closed-loop heating mechanism, powered by hot feed water, to preheat the incoming fuel gas — preventing condensation, improving combustion stability, and reducing emissions.
Its design emphasizes energy efficiency, safety, and reliability, featuring durable welded connections, temperature control instrumentation, and corrosion-resistant materials suitable for continuous, heavy-duty operation in large-scale power facilities.

This is an off-shore application in the Gulf of Mexico( Nakika Platform)
In this application, Sales oil at high viscosity and high pressure is entering the tube side, and it heated by high pressure hot water on the shell side. The size is 30” hairpin type exchanger about 30 feet long, with removable tube bundle. Duty is about 21,350,000 Btu/hr, and the design pressure is 450 psig on the shell side, x 3375 psig on the tube side
