Thanks Dr. Hoyer for hosting this month’s journal club on everything scaphoid fractures and non-unions. We covered a lot of ground…screw length and geometry for proximal pole fractures, use of volar plating, clinical and PROs in the hybrid russe technique for nonunion, role for vascularized bone graft in scaphoid non-union and more!

There is never a paucity of interesting cases going on at Indy Hand! Dr. Chow took one of our fellows, Dr. Mesa, through a right wrist 3 ligament tenodesis for dynamic scapholunate instability. Thanks Dr. Chow!

Dr. Clarke and Dr. Cooper got in on a hemi-hamate arthroplasty for a proximal interphalangeal joint fracture dislocation with persistent instability and an non-reconstructable proximal phalanx volar lip with Dr. Puri. Thanks for showing us the ropes Dr. Puri!!
