The price of silver has changed dramatically over the past year.

• End of 2025: around $70 per ounce
• Early 2026: silver reached historic highs, peaking around $120–$121 per ounce
• After the peak, prices corrected and continue to move with high volatility

This is not a trend or an exaggeration.
Silver is no longer used only for jewelry — it plays a key role in technology, solar energy, electronics, and is also widely traded as a financial asset during times of economic uncertainty.

For artisan jewelers, this means higher material costs and constant price adjustments.

Yet we keep creating with passion.

Deeply grateful for this beautiful and special opportunity to show my work at the VAPA Center in Charlotte, where I will be present through January 3rd.

Thank you to Casa de la Cultura for creating and sustaining these much-needed spaces, where we are not only here to support one another, but to inspire each other as a collective of artists.

I hope this is the first of many exhibitions where we can work hand in hand, share processes, perspectives, and voices, and continue building community together.

As I mentioned during Saturday’s conversation, the word that has recently come to define me as an artist is authenticity: creating from who we truly are, without masks, and with honesty.

May many more experiences like this come our way ✨
