The Exchange Event Space

Boo Who? If you’re like us, you’ve spent time wondering who is under a mask or two while traveling about the city. This event puts a Halloween spin on the activity while raising funds for Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity and the Independence Square Association. Participating retailers and services will display a costumed and masked (cloth or surgical) local community leader from businesses, industries, service organizations, and government. You can vote on your favorite by adding money to their jar. You can also participate in the guessing by asking for a scavenger hunt card, completing the card, and turning it in by November 2 at Under the Awning. The person getting the most correct will win a $50 gift certificate from the Independence Square. If there is a tie, the winner will be selected by a random drawing. A Boo Who listing (hunt card) may be picked up at the following locations: 3 Trails Brewing, Austin Conley, American Family Insurance Agent - Independence, MO, BeHereNow, Black Lemon Boutique By Brandy, Corporate Copy Print, Game Cafe, Gilbert Whitney & CO, Main Street Coffee House, Scandinavia Place, Sonshine Sports Apparel, LLC, Top Hat Winery, Under the Awning, and Wild About Harry on the Square.

If you haven't had the chance to tell Santa what you hope to see under the tree on Christmas, tomorrow is the last day! (We wonder what Jake the Wonder Pupper asked for?)

Tomorrow, Saturday, December 14 is the last day to visit Santa on the Square. 1 pm - 4 pm at the Exchange Space on Lexington Ave, street level next to Courthouse Exchange restaurant.
