Christ Still Lives

My testimony is when I was driving around and looking at churches and I was starting to think that the catholic church isn't all that and started to think that it's better not being in the catholic faith so I started looking around at different churches and though and think I could be here so I kept looking and looking at different churches at night. Then when it came to the last 2 churches lds and jahovia witness so I though about it in the middle of the night and couples nights as well then I said let's try the Mormon church and so I went the first and the second time as well and then i started going to the church during the daytime to the church around 3-4pm and I didn't get in then eventually I started calling the number and it came up Springfield missouri everytime I called then eventually I got a text from the I believe it's the Lds President saying if I was interested in the church and I said yes and he said he'll contact the missionaries and then missionaries contacted me and we set up a date to tour the church. Then on a saturday around 4:30pm I toured the church then inside the chruch I said it looks like a normal Christian church after that i got started meeting with the missionaries and that bring us to where we are now and this is my testimony

It is my testimony that I believe in the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. I testify to the fact that I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed and find it is true. I testify that Joseph Smith is a prophet and called upon to restore God's church upon the earth. I testify that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that restored church. I testify that the president of the LDS church is a modern day prophet to lead this church according to God's plan. Dallin H Oaks is in direct communication with God and receives direction and revelation as to how to lead us in this dispensation that began with our prophet Joseph Smith when he was visited by the Father and Jesus Christ, the angel Moroni telling about the plates that in themselves testified that prophets have never stopped being called to bring the word to his people even as it seemed to others that there were no more prophets. Why would God see the discontinuation of his works for 400 years? It has always been God's plan that his church which Christ established would contine on. His church will always have a prophet and apostles Christ returns. I would also like to testify that missions are of utmost importance to bring people unto him throughout the world. I have seen this myself as three of the finest missionary sisters a person could ever know entered my life through a prompting from the Holy Ghost. If any man has a reason to believe God wants him it is when he has been told by missionaries that they were prompted to bring me home to Christ's one and true church on this earth. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
