Independence Area Community Chest

Independence Area Community Chest is now accepting applications for 2026 Campaign year. Qualifying non-profit agencies can serve one of the four counties: Montgomery, Elk, Chautauqua, or Wilson County. Applications are due Monday June 9th, 2025. Independence Area Community Chest’s Board of Directors were happy to help fund Kids Crew USD 446, “Shop with a First Responder” program this year from our Special Projects Fund. During the “Shop with a First Responder” event, 150 eligible students will have the opportunity to shop and purchase gifts for themselves and their loved ones. This event fosters positive interactions with law enforcement, military personnel, EMTs, and other first responders.
