PRESS RELEASE
CITY OF COFFEYVILLE ANNOUNCES FREE SPAY/NEUTER, VACCINATION AND DOG LICENSING CLINIC

The City of Coffeyville is excited to announce a Free Spay/Neuter, Vaccination and Dog Licensing Clinic for Coffeyville residents, made possible through a partnership with Animal Clinic of Southeast Kansas and Coffeyville Friends of Animals (CFA).

Coffeyville Friends of Animals (CFA) is a local nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that has long supported the Coffeyville Animal Shelter through donations, fundraising efforts, and advocacy for the animals in their care. Together, the City of Coffeyville, CFA, and Animal Clinic of Southeast Kansas are working to improve animal health, encourage responsible pet ownership, and help reduce the number of unwanted animals in our community.

The clinic will provide the following services at no cost to residents:

• Spay/Neuter Surgery
• Rabies Vaccination
• DHLPP Vaccination (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza and
Parvovirus)
• City Dog License

The program is limited to one dog per household and appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration is now open and will continue through June and July. Because appointment availability is limited, residents are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Surgeries and vaccination appointments will be scheduled throughout August and September. Once all available appointments have been filled, additional registrations may be placed on a waiting list.

Residents may register by contacting Amber Dean or by completing the online registration form:

As a reminder, all dogs residing within the City of Coffeyville are required to be licensed and vaccinated against rabies. This clinic provides an excellent opportunity for pet owners to ensure their dogs are properly licensed, vaccinated, and receiving important preventative care.

"This clinic is a great example of what can happen when community partners come together for a common purpose," said Amber Dean, Director of Community Development. "We are grateful for the support of Coffeyville Friends of Animals and Animal Clinic of Southeast Kansas in helping provide these services. By working together, we can help more families care for their pets, improve animal health, and strengthen the overall well-being of our community."

The City encourages residents to take advantage of this opportunity and register early during June and July, as demand is expected to be high.
