Independence had some very special visitors at the Little House on the Prairie Museum!🎬

The actors behind the Mitchell family in Netflix’s new Little House on the Prairie series recently stopped by for a visit!

⭐ Meegwun Fairbrother plays William Mitchell, a successful Osage farmer who serves as a bridge between his community and the settlers arriving on Osage land.

⭐ Alyssa Wapanatâhk plays his wife, White Sun, a strong, witty character who brings another important perspective to the changes taking place around their family.

⭐ Wren Zhawenim Gotts plays their imaginative daughter, Good Eagle, whose friendship with Laura becomes an important part of the story.

The Mitchell family plays a significant role in the new series, helping bring the Osage perspective into the story of the Ingalls family’s time on the Kansas prairie.
