๐บ๐ธ Happy Flag Day! ๐บ๐ธ
Today we honor the American flag and all that it represents.
If you have a U.S. flag that is tattered, worn, faded, or torn beyond repair, Hutto Fire Rescue has flag retirement boxes available at Stations 1 & 2. Proper flag retirement is a respectful way to honor our nationโs symbol.
When the boxes are full, the flags are collected by The Richard A Oman American Legion Post 302, so they can be retired with a proper flag retirement ceremony.

On Friday, June 5, Hutto Fire Rescue (WCESD #3) joined Hutto ISD Police Department and several other local agencies for a Mass Casualty Training Exercise.
Here are just a few photos from the exercise showing some of the ways Hutto Fire Rescue personnel participated throughout the day. Since this was a large, multi-agency training event, these images don't capture every aspect of the exercise, but they offer a glimpse into the important work being done to ensure we are always prepared for emergencies.
Training alongside all of our public safety partners helps ensure all responding agencies can work seamlessly during complex incidents and strengthens partnerships to help keep our community safe. We would like to thank Hutto ISD and Hutto ISD Police Department for hosting and coordinating this valuable training opportunity.

Please note that all "patients" shown in these photos were volunteers participating in the exercise, and any injuries depicted were simulated using moulage (special effects makeup) for training purposes.
