"La Bebecita is really about celebrating and empowering women. It’s a love letter to my Latinidad and all the women in my life including those in my family I grew up looking up to.
La Bebecita, 'the baby girl,' in Spanish, is a nickname of sorts. The whole concept/birth of the brand was inspired by my latin roots—my culture, my ancestors, and my great grandmother Rosa Garcia, she’s my whole heart. Hands down, the strongest woman I know. The purpose behind all of it isn’t about the clothing really. I’m really just trying to share her story."
Natalie is an Austin native, though her family immigrated from Mexico. She aims to inspire women in same way her great grandmother inspired her. Her goal is to create a community of empowered women who are looking to empower other women. In a broad sense, she wishes to spread waves of positive vibrations through her products and content, both geared toward women and male allies alike. If you follow Natalie on instagram (la bebecita herself), you can already tell that La Bebecita is a physical and tangible manifestation of who she is: empowerment and good vibes 💯
More on “La Bebecita” - aesthetically it’s got urbano/reggaeton influences. “Bebecita” is something you hear in the lyrics, sometimes an ad-lib.
Catch La Bebecita and cop yourself a La Bebecita tee at the Open House Exhibit on Saturday, April 23!!!

Thira (Thee-Rah) is a painter who studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago before transferring to Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. She has always been interested in painting and drawing human figures. However, the Texas Hill Country and concerns about the impacts of climate change has sparked a new passion for painting landscapes. She says, “I am still in the process of finding how I can connect climate and land concerns into my paintings, but painting the land around me has helped me begin building a path for brighter ideas ahead.”
Thira’s biggest inspiration is her mother. “Although she may also be my biggest critic at times, my mom always has the brightest ideas and a genuine care for others that I wish to harness myself.”
A fun fact about Thira is that her name originates from the ancient name of what is now the Greek Island of Santorini. However, she is not Greek nor has she ever been to the island herself.
Come check out her paintings at the Open House Exhibit on April 23rd where she will be selling original pieces!
