Ok, now back to the story. Alex gestured to a room at the end of the hall. The apartment was an exact carbon copy of the one I once live in, so I knew the room at the end of the hall was the master bedroom. What we were all crammed in at the moment was the living room packed with furniture and boxes all the way to the ceiling. to the left was the kitchen and beyond that the bathroom. Just before the master bedroom was another bedroom. I knew all this and I also knew if we went to that bedroom at the back, it would be harder to get away....

Journal Entry Wednesday July 1, 2026

It has been a week. Thanks to the holiday, it is a short one, and I don't have to work on Friday. I'm glad because I have woken up every day this week feeling like a bobblehead doll. It's so weird feeling like my head is not attached to my body. I'm almost done with the meds I was prescribed, and I don't feel much better, but I don't feel worse either. I just feel beige. I go to the allergist on July 14, and I don't know what I will find out, but whatever it is, I just hope it makes me feel better....
