If you’re new here… hi. I’m Amber, that’s Spencer, and we’ve been together for almost 20 years. We started dating as teenagers, went to Bowling Green together, I got pregnant during my second year of college (definitely not part of the original plan 😂), and somehow all these years later we’re raising four kids together.

For my birthday, he surprised me with the Gucci bag I’ve been wanting. And yes… I was SO excited. 😂

But the part that got me wasn’t the bag.

It was the fact that he secretly drove all the way to Columbus just to get the exact one because he knew how excited I’d be. After almost 20 years, he still cares about the little details. He still gets excited to surprise me. And I think that’s what people mean when they say don’t stop dating your spouse.

Life looks a whole lot different than it did when we were those high school and broke college kids, but through the valleys and over the mountains we have traveled we maintained that spark. (And yes… he still drives me absolutely insane sometimes too. 😂)
