Getting started is hard. It’s unfamiliar. You doubt your ability to keep up. Maybe past experiences with movement have told you that you can’t stick with it.

But what if you pictured the payoff first, what your future self looks like 3 months from now?

Future you is excited to go to class. She’s unplugging, reconnecting with her body, showing up alongside a community of women who get it, and carrying that energy with her long after class ends.

The past doesn’t get a vote in what happens next. The only thing you can actually change is today and today is where your rewrite starts.

Core & Restore Pilates is here for that rewrite. It will take longer than you think, but the progress is happening, even on the days it doesn’t feel like it. And soon enough, you’re the one who feels bummed when you miss class. 🤍

New here? Come start your rewrite with us we’ve got a Pilates new client offer: 3 group classes at a discounted rate, because real change takes more than one class. Link in bio or comment “NEW” for more info ✨

If you knew this was the thing that brought you back to you, how would that change your ability to get started?

Probably a resounding yes. You wouldn’t hesitate.

So often it’s not the workout that stops us, it’s the story. The fear it’ll be hard. The fear of failing. The quiet feeling that somewhere between taking care of everyone else and the to-do lists, we lost track of ourselves.

But the story we tell ourselves makes all the difference.

Here’s a new one: my capacity for what feels hard is growing. Pilates is becoming my new normal, not just for my body, but for my mind too. I’m getting stronger, I’m getting calmer, and I’m finding pieces of myself I thought I’d misplaced.

That story feels attainable. 🤍

We’ll help you rewrite yours one session at a time.

New here? Come write a new story with us, we’ve got a new client offer: 3 group classes at a discounted rate, because real change takes more than one class. Link in bio. ✨

What an amazing weekend in South Huntsville! 💙

We loved hosting our first pop-up Pilates mat class at Back Forty Beer Company and being part of South Huntsville’s Summer Hays event. Connecting with so many wonderful people, meeting fellow small businesses, and seeing our community come together reminded us why we love what we do.

We’re looking forward to participating in more South Huntsville community events and to host another pop-up Pilates mat class soon! If you have ideas for future pop-up locations or events, we’d love to hear them share your suggestions in the comments. 👇🏻

Until next time, South Huntsville and if you’re ready to start your Pilates journey, you know where to find us in the studio to help you get started. ✨

I want to be able to keep playing on the floor with my girls for as long as they’ll play with me and someday, do it all over again with grandkids.

What I really want isn’t a six-pack or a number on a scale. It’s a body that can keep up with everyday life at home with my kids.

I used to assume I could just do all the things. Then I had my first baby, and I realized something: you don’t spend much time on your stomach anymore as you move into adulthood, not unless you make a conscious effort to work that movement in.

Pilates ended up being exactly what I needed, because the method has extension in the practice the exact movement I’d lost.

Honestly? It still feels stiff some days, especially if I’ve fallen off during a busy season with littles and working. But the more consistent I am, the easier it gets to drop to the floor and play princesses without a second thought.

If this resonates, we’d love to have you try it for yourself, new clients get 3 group classes to start. No pressure, just come see how it feels. Link in bio or comment “PLAY” for info.

Getting motivated for a Saturday morning workout? Not always easy. But imagine this instead:

The smell of fresh cut grass. The world just starting to wake up. Gentle chatter as everyone spreads out their mats in the morning light, right here at Back Forty Beer Company’s lawn. You settle in, feeling completely grounded before class even begins.

As we start, you unplug from the to-do list and tune into your body instead. The rise and fall of your breath. The mat beneath you. The instructor’s cues guiding you as you move in sync with the group around you. Rep by rep, the stress of the week starts to melt away.

There’s something different about moving together, outdoors, as a community. The energy is contagious. Before you know it, an hour has passed and class is done, you’re catching your breath, trading smiles with the people around you, and soaking in that feeling of accomplishment.

Then? Well, you’re already at Back Forty Beer Company and they open up at 11:00am, so go grab a pint with the group after. 😉

Summer throws everyone’s rhythm off. Family visiting, vacations, packed schedules, and suddenly it’s been a couple weeks since your last Pilates session.

Here’s the truth: missing a session isn’t failure. It’s not proof you can’t get back in the studio. It just means life got busy, and that happens to all of us.

All you need is the willingness to show back up, and the grace to start exactly where you are. That’s enough.

And when you do come back, it might not feel exactly like it used to, and that’s okay. Some days you’re rested and strong. Other days you didn’t sleep well, work’s been a lot, or the kids had a rough morning so you feel wiped. Pilates will meet you wherever you’re at that day. What matters is that you choose to start again, for you.

We’ll guide you through the movement and help you reconnect with your body along the way. By the end, you’ll feel lighter, more in tune with yourself, maybe find a few muscles you forgot you had, and proud you showed up for you again. 🤍

So stop waiting for the “perfect time.” Book your next Pilates session today, your mat is ready. 🤍 Send us a direct message if you need help getting started!

You’ve been thinking about trying a Pilates class, but you’re not sure if a group class is right for you. Maybe you have an old knee injury, occasional back pain, or something else you always have to be mindful of when you exercise.

What you really want is to know you’ll be properly supported, that someone understands your body and can make adjustments when you need them.

Maybe you’ve tried larger group Pilates classes before. With 10-12 people in the room, everyone gets the same set-up, and it’s easy to feel lost in the crowd without much individual guidance.

What you need is a small class where you feel seen. A place where your instructor knows what’s going on with your body and is ready to adjust movements or your equipment so you can move safely and confidently.

You don’t have to worry about that old injury flaring up during a certain exercise or wonder what to do if you’re not feeling your best that day. Your instructor checks in before class, helps set you up for success on the equipment, and makes adjustments along the way, so you can simply focus on moving.

Instead of feeling like just another person in class, Pilates feels personalized at Core & Restore Pilates. You feel cared for, supported, and seen from beginning to end. You leave the studio feeling recharged, more connected to your body, and accomplished already looking forward to your next class.

✨ If you’ve been waiting for a sign to try Pilates, this is it. We’d love to help you feel comfortable from your very first class. Send us a DM with the word START or ask us any questions we’re here to help.

Core & Restore Pilates began with a shared belief: that movement has the power to heal, strengthen, and transform lives.

As I’m a physical therapist and Maria’s a massage therapist, we experienced firsthand how Pilates could support recovery, restore confidence, and help people feel more at home in their bodies. Through our own journeys with Pilates and years spent helping others, we dreamed of creating a space where every person could feel seen, supported, and guided with intention.

What started as a dream has become a community filled with people rediscovering strength, improving mobility, and finding joy in movement at every stage of life.

We’re so grateful to be part of these stories, and we’re just getting started.

✨ Follow along as we share our journey, celebrate our clients, and continue building a space where movement meets confidence.
