Our community’s educators are entrusted with shaping our nation’s youth, and we believe they have an equal right to defend themselves both inside and outside the classroom, as well as a responsibility to safeguard those in their care. This class empowers educators to advocate for meaningful improvements in their school’s or organization’s threat preparedness and response, to protect and care for students using currently available resources, and to thoughtfully engage with and challenge existing legislation.
