I kicked off a new Substack series called Trust the Simmer, and this first post starts in the kitchen with a hearty beef & egg noodle soup. But it’s really about something bigger. Learning when to step in, when to pause, and when to trust the process.

It’s also a glimpse into how I use ChatGPT. Not for shortcuts or perfect answers, but as a conversation. Asking questions, adjusting along the way, and letting ideas develop instead of forcing them.

It’s the same mindset I bring to real estate. Not every decision needs to be rushed. Not every moment needs immediate action. Sometimes the best results come from patience, good questions, and trusting the process.

This one’s cozy, thoughtful, and very much weekend energy.

I always like to start my year with a clean house. There’s something about clearing the clutter that helps me feel more grounded and ready for whatever the year brings.

As you’re doing your New Year refresh, a few small things can make a big difference:

✨ Start with one closet or drawer. Small wins build momentum.

✨ Let go of anything you haven’t used in the past year.

✨ Wipe down light switches, door handles, and baseboards.

✨ Open the windows for a few minutes and let fresh air in.

Sometimes that reset is physical, and sometimes it leads us to ask if our home still fits the life we’re living now.
