How do cover ups work ?
I don’t love cover-ups.
But I respect them — because they force you to solve a problem that already exists on the skin.
Not every tattoo turns out the way people hoped. Sometimes it fades badly. Sometimes the design no longer fits who you are. Sometimes it was never done right from the beginning.

A good cover-up is not just putting something darker over the old piece. It takes planning, structure, saturation, and compromise. The old tattoo has to be worked with, not ignored.

They are challenging — but that is exactly why they matter.
