A while back, I saw a Tres Leches cake on Instagram from my favorite local bakery and jokingly said, “That’s what I want for my birthday!” I never imagined anyone would actually remember.

Not only did my team remember, but they surprised me with that exact cake—and it was every bit as divine as I hoped it would be!

To my incredible team, thank you for making my birthday so special. The cake was amazing, but what meant even more was knowing you paid attention to a small detail that I had long forgotten. It’s these thoughtful gestures that remind me how lucky I am to work alongside such caring, kind, and thoughtful people every day.

A special thank you to Bob and the talented team at Duck Island Bakery for creating the most delicious Tres Leches cake. It was absolutely perfect!
