⚠ FORECAST UPDATE (6/12) - A wave of storms is trying to approach, but it's falling apart. It will revitalize in the afternoon heat, though mainly in our east/mts by then.👇

Because this wave doesn't look like it has what it takes to fully plow through the area, I'm not expecting much of a drawback of the heat yet, though Saturday morning should feel better for the morning joggers than it's been. Sunday afternoon the next wave/front approaches, and that one does look like it has the juice, so I'm expecting a more common smattering of storms as well as a more bonafide dial-back of this humidity come Monday.

High pressure visits for a bit Monday and Tuesday, and while I still expect a brief straggler of a shower or two on Monday these should be the best two days we've got going for a while. Actually, most of the next week ahead looks to be an easier go of it for the outdoor work crews.

I do have my suspicions though about next Thursday, as another wave of storms looks to come through. If this happens as scheduled though, I think a lot of folks would accept this trade-off as it would clear out in time to make the weekend that follows better than it otherwise would be... Until the heat comes back at least!
