When considering the purchase of an older home, look for signs of repeated repairs to the foundation or the walls (both interior and exterior). If you suspect something, have the foundation inspected and evaluated by an independent party.

When drainage is poor around a building, foundations problems can develop. If you have pools of standing water near the home on a regular basis (after rains or watering), or there has been construction near the pad, let us examine the slope and make repairs if a problem exists.
