I love when an assignment lends to the learning strength of a student! This student’s artistic ability really came through in this activity!!

These two projects turned out fantastic!!

One of my middle schoolers created his own Newspaper with articles about different country Christmas traditions!

Ava learned how to make paper poinsettia for the Christmas season!

Today’s students are learning how to use Canva to create different Christmas projects. Axl is learning how to create short music reels adding songs, text, and graphics.

Another student is learning how to create his own newspaper to showcase what he has learned about Christmas traditions in other countries!

Today we learned about snowflakes and took some time to make our own! Definitely one of my favorite activities around the holidays!!

Started our day attempting to finish our 4 day Monopoly game! Needless to say Axl has now become a ruthless Monopoly wiz and had me bankrupt pretty early! Now it’s up to Ava to take him down!! 😂 I love that they are enjoying board games and playing Monopoly which is one of my favorite games!

I also love that Monopoly has so many versions. Each version has facts and information they can learn as we play. We decided to play Horse-opoly this time and have been learning all about different horse breeds and what is needed to take care of horses.

Some of the best writing practice comes from making things. Today’s writing project is a candy gram poster card for our Grandpa Ken’s 80th birthday!! 🎉
