Check out my journey! πŸ‘€ On the left, you'll see me at the start of my adventure. πŸ’ͺ Back then, I had big dreams but not much else: no business, no employees, no babies, and no home. Just a lot of ambition and $2,000 in savings.πŸ’°

I worked hard and set some goals for myself, and sometimes it took longer than I thought it would, but I always kept pushing forward. πŸš€ Some of my ideas were amazing and brought me closer to my dream, while others put me in debt πŸ“‰-- but I learned from my mistakes and kept going.

Over the past 14 years, I've faced lots of ups and downs. I fell in love, got married, and had two beautiful babies. I've opened and built up two storefronts, and rebuilt my business over 10 times due to moves, life, and covid. I've had my business forced closed 4 times and even chose to leave twice to have my babies. But through it all, I never gave up! πŸ’ͺ

My goal now is to help women feel amazing from the moment they wake up, and to help 1000 women start their own businesses through the academy I'm building with some of my community. 🌟 I couldn't have done it without the support of my husband, my mom, my clients, and my friends. πŸ™Œ

Whenever I get frustrated that my dreams aren't happening fast enough, I remember that scared, broke, but excited 26-year-old girl on the left. πŸ™ She's come so far, and I know I can accomplish anything I put my mind to if I stay patient, give myself some grace, and keep pushing forward. πŸ’ͺ

This has been a humbling few months. Some of you may already know that my new landlord has given us the gift of tripling our rent. I tried to hold on to our Long Beach location by doubling down with my investment into the shop. I went all in with building it out to be more renter friendly and investing in marketing to find new renters. I did succeed in getting more renters! Unfortunately I was not able to find ENOUGH people wanting to rent at that location which left me being unable to meet the tripling in rent.
Luckily I was able to find us a new place the same price as we paid before! It is in Huntington Harbor and is half the size of our existing shop but we were having trouble filling that big space anyways so cutting down the amount of tables is not going to hurt us.
I greatly underestimated what it would cost to do this move. I assumed from my first estimation that it would be close to $15,000 which I had on credit cards and promptly started charging on those cards. When I got further into the move and had some real life current rate estimates done the move cost spiked to $40,000. I have shopped around, asked for help from friends and this is the amount I was able to lower it to.
Since I put so much on my credit cards right away to get it all started, I now am being told I am not eligible for a business loan for the amount I need to accomplish what we need for the grand opening.
I need a miracle here. Please help, any donation is appreciated. You can also help us by buying gift certificates or booking an appointment for yourself with us! We are only planning on being closed the 19th-23rd so come see us!
