There are some things I never get tired of seeing, like when the dahlias bloom…they are so pretty I could cry 💕🥰

Sharing a few of my favs in honor of World Bee Day🐝!

Included are: Yellow Bumblebee, American Bumblebee, Two-spotted Bumblebee, Brown Belt Bumblebee, and my friend, the Rose Mallow Bee🥰

Go hug a bee or even better, plant some native pollinators for them to enjoy💕🐝!

For everyone who thought I was brave for going near the snakes, here is proof that I’m actually a big we**ie when it comes to worms! I still have the heebie jeebies from this episode!

These are Hammerhead worms. They are invasive and prey on earthworms that can beneficial (but are also not native). If you find them in your garden beds you should kill them, but be sure to follow these steps:

🪱wear gloves-they secrete a toxin
🪱do not cut or crush them-they multiply from small pieces
🪱put them in a plastic ziplock bag with salt or vinegar
🪱freeze the bag for 48 hours before disposing.

And now I’m going to go wash my hands 500 times! Thank you for telling me about them so when I saw them this morning I was prepared!
