In science this week we learned about the different types of clouds, what they’re made of and what each type means about the weather. We did a “cloud in a jar” experiment by filling a jar with water (air), adding shaving cream (cloud), and dropping colored water on top - the colored water saturates the “cloud” and falls through, demonstrating how rain works. The kiddos also collaborated to create their own class clouds!
This week we had a very exciting visit from two therapy dogs, Jet & Gidget! The students learned about what a therapy dog is, how to take care of a dog and the difference between a service animal and a therapy dog. They also enjoyed spending time with & petting both dogs. 🐾
