The Huffman Hawks boys spent the last week in Missouri at the Youth World Series. We didn’t have the outcome we wanted, but these boys balled hard, played hard, and made some of the best memories to last a lifetime. Hawks’ own #2 Jax Kennedy placed 2nd in speed time running the 40 and our #25 Bryce Hallum threw a powerful 57 mph to score 2nd in the velocity challenge! Rylan James, Bentley White, and Bryce Hallum were chosen as 10U All Stars to represent the Hawks! A great time was had by the boys, and in the last game for sure…the boys were told to go play ball and have fun! All played different positions, coaches switched positions, flipped the batting order on its head, Nolan batted as a lefty & hit the ball, Hayes with an amazing dive to catch a fly in center, Rylan aka Wheels took off after a single and never stopped - confusing the defense and bringing in a run, and using 5 different pitchers through 5 innings with no more than 15 pitches thrown by each! Huge thanks to the supporters who made this World Series possible. Mostly, a shout out to the families near and far who cheered us on. ⚾️🥰

What a weekend. These boys fought hard going 4-2 this weekend. Knocked out the #1 seed to get to the championship. We didn’t bring home the W, but fought hard to the end. Amazing weekend of baseball for these Hawks!

These boys had an interesting weekend of baseball - rain delays and cold temperatures didn’t help! Didn’t end the way we wanted, but they played some ball! Biggest shout out to the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and friends who support us rain or shine (metor showers not included)!

We will have open practice today 2/25 and tomorrow 2/26.
