LIVE FIRE TRAINING – 10 LOWELL ROAD - SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15TH.

Please be advised that the Hudson Fire Department will be conducting live fire training at the property located at 10 Lowell Road (next to the Firefighters Memorial) this Saturday, December 15th. Training is scheduled to begin at 7AM and is expected to be completed by 5PM.

Training will consist of small fires lit in various rooms of the house and our firefighters performing fire extinguishment, search and rescue, and ventilation tasks. This will allow our firefighters to gain valuable training and experience in conditions as close to real as possible while maintaining a controlled environment. At the conclusion of our training the building will be burned down completely.

This is an extremely valuable and rare training opportunity for our department and we would like to thank Manny Sousa from Sousa Realty and Development for allowing us to utilize the property for this purpose.

SPECTATOR PARKING AND VIEWING:

There will be parking for spectators at the DPW Facility at 8 Melendy Road (Old Skate Park, now the Pickleball Courts). A spectator viewing area will be set up in the area adjacent to Central Street next to the Firefighters Memorial.

Please use caution while traveling through this area on Saturday.
