Today, on Mother’s Day, we want to honor and remember a woman who helped shape the heart of Poly Vinyl Creations long before many people ever knew the company name.

Our mother, Ellen Burton, may have worked more behind the scenes than our father, but her impact on this company was immeasurable.

She was intelligent, resilient, technical, creative, and quietly brilliant. Whether it was reconfiguring CNC machines, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, organizing systems, managing technical data, or helping hold operations together behind the curtain — she did it all with humility and determination.

But more importantly, she believed in people.

She believed in integrity.
She believed in inclusivity.
She believed in treating others fairly and with respect.
And those values became part of the foundation of Poly Vinyl Creations.

Many people never saw the countless hours, sacrifices, stress, problem-solving, and support she poured into this business and our family over the years. We did.

While she is deeply missed every single day, her influence still lives on in this company, in our culture, and in the way we continue moving forward.

Today we honor not only our mother, but the legacy she left behind.
