Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
As Howell Twp. celebrates another generation of graduates, it’s also worth asking an important question: Will they be able to afford to live in the town they grew up in? A strong community should be one where our children have the opportunity to come back, build careers, buy homes, raise families, and contribute to the town that helped shape them.
Unfortunately, for many this isn't reality. When elected officials are making policy and decisions they should be considering whether the next generation can realistically afford to call Howell home. If our children can graduate here but can’t afford to live here, then affordability needs to become part of every conversation about our community’s future.
