🛑Work Being Completed: Bridge rehabilitation
🛑Traffic Impact: Road will be closed to thru traffic.

🚧Whitmore Lake Road between Maltby and Silver Lake Road🚧
🛑Start Date: Friday, July 10, 2026
🛑End Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026
🛑Work Being Completed: Culvert Installation
🛑Traffic Impact: The road will be closed at 8324 Whitmore Lake Road. Access will be maintained to respective properties with two-way traffic, north & south, for the duration of this work. After this 2-day work is completed, traffic patterns will return to southbound only.

McCABE ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

The Huron River Water Trail at the McCabe Road bridge in Green Oak Township (Livingston County) will be temporarily closed for the demolition of the existing bridge.
The water trail will be closed at the McCabe Road bridge beginning the week of July 6 and will be closed for up to five consecutive days.

During the fall of 2026, the water trail at the McCabe Road bridge will be temporarily closed again to paddlers for an additional 5 consecutive days while new bridge work over the river occurs. These closures are necessary to help ensure the safety of all river users during construction activities.

🚧🚨Phase 3 begins today, Monday, June 15. During Phase 3, the south approach of the Kensington/Grand River intersection will be closed to all traffic. All other approaches, including the EB I-96 on and off ramps will be open. Please follow appropriate detour signage and drive safely around the construction area.
This third and final phase should be complete by July 11, 2026.🚨🚧
