Beyond the Barn Photography

Happy !! It definitely keeps things interesting having a donkey around. This photo reminds me of the wonkey donkey stories. Look at that smile!

And just like that, this girl is 1! Smash cakes are always so much fun and she had a great time with hers!

Her family is getting an heirloom album to capture all the precious memories of her first year. Stayed tuned as I show you how I design an album.

We don't often get too much fall color here in North Texas, but I've noticed a lot more this year. As you can see, we normally just get a bunch of leafless trees. 😂
I've really wanted to get a photo of McLovin near this beautiful yellow tree. The challenge has been catching him near the tree with decent lighting, as he's normally waiting at the fence for supper time. Well, today I tried to sneak out and get a few photos. Please enjoy this series of images that explains why I mostly only have McLovin headshots. 😂 Anytime he sees me he thinks it's time to eat.

I was recently asked if I photograph more than horses and dogs. The answer is, yes! While I specialize in canine and equine portraiture, I'll photograph any animal because I love them all! I've gotten the opportunity to photograph goats, longhorns, cattle, and cats. Some animals I'd love to photograph are giraffes, elephants, zebras, and big cats to name a few!
