Our community has been devastated by the floods at Camp Mystic. As news has trickled in from clients, friends, neighbors, and family members directly affected, it’s brought a rude awakening to how local this has truly been. The Love and empathy runs deep into our bones and we’re here to help however we can. Remember, in times of crisis, always look for the helpers.
Modern Therapy will be offering free therapy to those affected by Camp Mystic. Please share with those directly affected for therapy space to sit in the trench with you and hold space for you from a trauma informed lens.
Our friends at are also holding free therapy space for those affected. They have an additional specialty in health and chronic health related issues for anyone that might have compounded grief as they attempt to hold their own body through this.
For local community grief groups (children welcome) please visit our friends who will be holding group this coming Monday as well as in the coming weeks.
We hope to always be a resource and will be sharing anything we learn about in our community to get you connected to what you need. Remember, you are never alone. Ever. Community is here for you.
