More fun facts about us…

✂️We both started quilting in the early 90s.

✂️We each have two boys and a girl, and are married to men named Ray.

✂️ We met at guild in the early 2000s, lost track of each other and reconnected at a different guild about 10 years later.

✂️We started Everyday Stitches in 2015 and have designed more than 75 quilt patterns since then.

✂️Even though we design and make a lot of paper pieced patterns, it’s not our favorite technique!

✂️We developed the Everyday Curve Templates because we couldn’t find ones we liked that include a seam allowance. Now we have a laser cutter and manufacture them ourselves.

✂️Although we identify as modern quilters, we design quilts that appeal to all types of quilters and skill levels.

Look who got a makeover!

Every now and then, we like to give one of our patterns a little re-do. This time it’s Spinning Turnstyles! She needed a new look so we rummaged through our stash and found some bright fabric to give her a cherry glow up!

Why we love this quilt!
✂️ It’s easy enough to be your first quilt but interesting enough to make it over and over again.
 
✂️ It’s block based so it’s easily scalable - each 3/8 yard cut makes 4 blocks. Just keep adding on until you get to the size you want.
 
✂️ Learn partial seam piecing - an “easier-than-it-looks” technique
