Hey y’all,

Like so many of you, I’m heartbroken by the tragedy in Midland. As a Texas girl, it hurts to see a community we care about going through something so painful.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, the survivors, and all the first responders who rushed in to help during such a difficult time. No family should ever have to receive a phone call like that, and no community should have to carry that kind of grief.

Right now, let’s keep the people of Midland close in our hearts. Reach out to your loved ones, support one another, and remember that even in the darkest moments, compassion and kindness can help carry people through.

Just wanted to catch everyone up on what Prairie Ghosts has been up to this week!

We’ve officially started filming the music video for "Home Found Me," and we’re having an absolute blast bringing this story to life. Even crazier, we’re doing back-to-back video shoots, so as soon as this one wraps up, we’ll be rolling right into the next project. Once all the filming, final edits, and music scoring are finished, we’ll get it out to y’all as quickly as we can. We can’t wait for you to see it!

We also spent last weekend hard at work in the studio. Donna and Bobby have written another new song, "Porch Light Ghost", and we’re already working on bringing it to life. It’s got a lot of heart and emotion, and we’re really hoping y’all are going to love it as much as we do.

This song tells the story of a lonely dog wandering down a Texas roadside after being abandoned by the person he trusted most. When all hope seems lost, a kind stranger stops, opens their heart, and gives him something every dog deserves .. love, safety, and a forever home.

As a dog lover, this one means a lot to me, and it is based on a true story, within our Prairie Ghosts family. It's a reminder that sometimes family isn't who leaves you behind .. it's who chooses to stay.
