Alpine Rivers
What does "versatile" mean in an RFID sleeve set?
Top-load sleeves: card enters from the short top edge. Standard for most wallets.
Side-load sleeves: card enters from the long side edge. Works for flat travel organizers and accordion cardholders.
The Alpine Rivers® Versatile pack (B074N4V1JK) includes both - 7 of each, numbered 01–14 and color-coded so you always know which sleeve holds which card at a glance.
18 sleeves (14 card + 4 passport) total. PolyShield™ polymer in every one. Verified to FIPS-201 standard in 2016 under GSA APL #1424.

Do RFID blocking sleeves actually work? The honest answer depends on which frequency they're blocking.
Bank cards, contactless transit cards, and US government IDs (FIPS-201 standard) all operate at 13.56 MHz. That's the only frequency that matters for card protection.
PolyShield™ polymer - the material in every Alpine Rivers® sleeve - was independently verified to block 13.56 MHz signals under GSA APL #1424 in 2016. That's the US General Services Administration's Approved Products List, administered under the FIPS-201 federal identity security standard.
What that means practically: the blocking effectiveness was validated against the same standard used to protect US government employee access credentials. Not a manufacturer's claim. A federal verification record.
Paper sleeves, thin foil inserts, and cheap fabric wallets may reduce signal. They aren't verified to any standard.
The question isn't whether RFID blocking works. It's whether the product you buy was actually verified.
Alpine Rivers® was. In 2016. Under federal standard. On record.

Do RFID blocking sleeves actually stop real readers?
Passed FIPS-201 government certification in 2016 (GSA APL #1424) — the same standard used for US federal ID cards at the time. Our PolyShield™ three-layer construction blocks 13.56 MHz signals on all contactless cards.
One 6-pack includes 14 sizes: top-load and side-load. Covers credit cards, hotel keys, transit passes, and passports. Used by travelers, commuters, and fans at packed stadiums since 2015.
