Throughout my journey as a patient advocate and someone managing a chronic illness, I have had the privilege of being in some extraordinary places. My aspiration to play basketball at Hoffman Middle School has progressed into a commitment that has led me to participate in advocacy efforts with the National Kidney Foundation in Washington DC.
